  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese with grated Parmesan cheese, garlic, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined to create a flavorful filling.
  • In a baking dish, start layering the ingredients: pour a small amount of marinara sauce on the bottom, followed by the seasoned chicken breasts. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the chicken, then add more marinara sauce on top.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. This allows the chicken to cook through while the cheese begins to melt.
  • After 20 minutes, carefully remove the foil and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of the dish. Return it to the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
