  • 1 box 15.25 ounce yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup whole or 2% milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4-5 medium bananas sliced
  • cup packed light brown sugar divided

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 baking pan to prevent sticking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, milk, and melted butter. Stir the mixture until well combined and smooth.
  • Spread the cake mixture evenly into the greased baking pan. Layer the sliced bananas on top of the cake mixture.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together ½ cup of the brown sugar, a splash of water, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Drizzle this mixture over the banana slices.
  • In another bowl, combine oats, flour, baking powder, and the remaining brown sugar. Sprinkle this mixture over the bananas evenly.
  • Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the cobbler is golden brown and bubbly.
  • Once baked, allow the cobbler to cool for 20 minutes before serving. Enjoy it warm with vanilla ice cream or additional banana slices.
